Is it true that bollywood babes are getting bolder or the fact is, the face of the society is changing and everything that comes with skin show gets more hands in public (we saw Mandira Bedi going topless for Vogue India a week before and now Bipasha Basu has done the same for Maxim India)? Whatever is the case, but the New Year, 2011 has started with topless photo-shoots. Celebrities throwing off their upper garments to be clicked to become the cover girl of the some top notched lifestyle magazines in India.

Mandira Bedi, who was once a shy-next-door-girl (Shanti) later turned herself into a cricket expert and now become one of the most ogled and google-d celebrity in Bollywood for her topless photo-shoot for Vogue India. Although, she tried to defend herself on twitter, “Its 1 picture 1 of many & not a cover.. on the inside pages. Honestly, it sounds dodgier than it is. I can’t seem to understand the hullaballoo either. Its deeply troubling,” as she tweeted.

But, it seems Bipasha Basu has made up her mind that she will not let anyone – even if it’s Mandira – to take the advantage of her sexy-dusky-siren image from her, and she wasted no time to go topless for Men’s glossy Magazine Maxim India.

The big question is what has suddenly changed bollywood celebrities to go bolder? The answer we might get soon, when we could see some more Bollywood babes not only going topless but lessen the bottom and heighten people’s libido and send it souring.
