When Jiah Khan’s secret marriage started making rounds over the internet and newspapers, many of her fans would have started singing ‘Jia-h jale, jaan jale’ but now they can sit and listen to ‘athrah baras ki kunwari kali hoon’ as the actress denied the news of her marriage.

“Stupid gossip doing the rounds that I’m married now! LOL where do they get this stuff from!!! I can assure u I’m faaaar from getting married!!” she wrote on her twitter account.

A friend of Jiah told Mumbai Mirror, “Jiah has married. We don’t know the guy’s identity, but he is a foreigner for sure.”

“Jiah is very prominent, in the party circuit, in UK. She has many foreign friends.

But, we were quite surprised, when we learnt about her marriage. We are trying to check on the details,” the friend added.

Jiah has been out of the spotlight since long and had a handful of films on her name after making debut with ‘Nishabd’ where Amitabh Bachchan was her co-star. But, later she was seen only in ‘Ghajni’ and recently in ‘Housefull’ without any full detail!
