As the Indian fashion media was a little too excited before Sonam Kapoor’s date with the 64th Cannes Film Festival, the diva hold the torch up with an excellent show on the red carpet on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at the French Riviera.

Sonam looked stylish and breathtakingly in Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2009 Couture gown when she arrived for the premiere of “The Artist” at the festival.

It was the first ever Cannes for the 25-year-old bollywood actress where she made her debut as the face of L’Oreal India.

Sonam came rocking with her youthful charm in a white and black overlay, one sleeve fishnet gown that complimented her tall and slim figure. The girl was beautifully accessorized with white Ferragam peep-toe heel, Chopard stud earring.
