The dusky leggie, Deepika Padukone has revealed some secrets to the latest Filmfare edition, one of the renowned bollywood magazines. The diva has opened her heart and talked about her friendship with ex-flame Ranbir Kapoor and the relationship she is carrying with Siddhartha Mallya who she is dating for a while.

When Deepika was asked about her equation with Ranbir after the break up, she was quick to reply, “What I’ve always maintained is that Ranbir and I are very good friends. Even today that would be the most important relationship for me.”

But as soon as she was questioned about the rumors that Siddhartha has bought a house for her, the 25-year-old replied, “Honestly, I’ve been independent from the start of my career. I moved out of home at the age of 20. I started modelling when I was 18. I started my first film when I was 21. Today when I’ve worked a little harder I’ve bought myself a bigger home in Prabhadevi. It’s my dream home. I definitely don’t a need a man to get me any of this. Sid himself lives with his father (Dr Vijay Mallya) and hasn’t bought himself a house. Why would he buy me one?”

Deepika who is currently working with Saif Ali Khan in Homi Adjania’s Cocktail in London will soon be seen in theaters with Saif only in Prakash Jha’s political drama ‘Aarakshan’.
