Shahrukh Khan has recently joined the twitter brigade and wasted no time applying his sticks! The bollywood Badshah smacked the Hockey authorities on twitter on Saturday over the raw deal given to the players. SRK who played the role of hockey coach in 2007 hit ‘Chak De India’ expressed his anguish and solidarity with the players.

“(I) feel awful for the Indian hockey team. To play for the country… (the) national sport and have to ask for salary. And we complain we don’t win gold,” the superstar, wrote.

Shahrukh’s  anguish was equally felt by another bollywood personality and veteran twitter Gul Panag, “Sad that our hockey team has to constantly fight for its dues — and not just financial. Whereas cricket…” she left in between for our understanding.

While IHF (Indian Hockey Federation) led by KPS Gill like in the past has managed to soften the revolt and silenced the player for time-being.
