Salman Khan may have disappointed many contemporary film buffs (who have grown up watching and knowing the film industry as ‘Bollywood’) when he twitted that ‘Bollywood’ should be renamed to ‘HiFi’ (Hindi Films).  ‘Dabangg’ Khan has criticized the ‘title’ of the Hindi film industry for bagging the name which is irrelevant now. He said that when ‘Bombay’ is no more ‘Bombay’ but ‘Mumbai’ then why not make it ‘Mumllywood’ and ridiculed it for being a copycat of ‘Hollywood’.

‘Being Salman Khan’ as his twitter account stands have tweets of last day where Salman has written, “Bollywood was fr wen Mumbai was called Bombay toh kya shld it nt b called mumllywood, hw ridiculous is it. It makes us look like chamchas”.

This has turned into a debate with ‘Taran Adarsh’ a bollywood analyst affirmed his ridiculing and suggestion of a new name Hindi film industry ‘HiFi’ (Hi-Hindi, Fi-Film).
