Columbia pictures, one of the biggest Hollywood movie production companies has said on Tuesday that it has won the US distribution rights for a film on the killing of Osama bin Laden which will be directed by Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow.

Bigelow and screenwriter Mark Boal, who won Oscars for Iraq bomb squad movie ‘Hurt Locker’ in 2010 had already been working on the on the project of bin Laden killing, before his death on May2.
