‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa’ made him a star, Imran Khan was lucky for being the nephew to Bollywood’s most dependable star ‘Aamir Khan’. Aamir’s production gave Imran the kind of platform which any actor would have asked his whole life but it looked that Imran was just one Friday ‘wonder’ as his films ‘Kidnap’ and ‘Luck’ didn’t do well at the box office and came Mamu with ‘Delhi Belly’ which very much seems to have the right kind of ingredients to give Imran another flight, a kick at his back to go up.

However, the actor isn’t buying the reports which earlier said that Aamir is involved in every stage of the ‘Delhi Belly’ production. He says “Mamu will take a backseat this time. During Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na, I was a newcomer, so he was involved in a big way. This time, he wants us to take charge of the promotion. Moreover, he’s very busy with Reema Kagti’s film. He is setting up the plan for our movie and letting us take the lead. It’s little scary, but I love the idea.”

Whatever Imran is saying could be true but behind all the hype and hoopla about ‘Delhi Belly’ only the name ‘Aamir’ works.
