Earlier it was said that Ileana D’Cruz, the south Indian actress, who is co-star in the film has object over Priyanka’s extensive role in the film and asked director Anurag Basu to extend her footage as well as give her few more songs in the film.

There is an apprehension in Ileana’s mind, she is making her debut with the film and she do not want to be another Kangana Ranaut of ‘Kites’ where she went unnoticed because of Barbara Mori’s extensive screen presence with Hrithik Roshan.

It seems the fight has gone over which made Priyanka to just postpone the shooting and vanish away from the film for a while before things settle down between South Indian Diva and director.

A leading newspaper quoted a source, saying, “Priyanka is currently shooting for Kunal Kohli’s film. She then leaves for IIFA awards. Then she comes back to finish Kunal’s film. There is no clear indication of when Priyanka joins the Barfee shooting. She has issues regarding her role that need to be sorted out first.”

“The Barfee schedule starts on June 15 in Darjeeling. We’ll be shooting there for a couple of weeks. This will be followed by a short schedule in Mumbai. The current schedule is with Ranbir and Ileana. Priyanka joins us for the July schedule in Kolkata,” UTV producer Siddharth Roy Kapoor said over the whole issue.

If Madhuri says yes to the project she will be working with other cast of original ‘Ishqiya’, Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi.

Vidya who is playing the sultry role of ‘Silk Smitha’, the south Indian siren in Ekta Kapoor’s production and Milan Lutharia’s directed, a much hyped biopic ‘Dirty Picture’ encountered an unhealthy problem.

Reportedly, the film contains a lot of skin show but a bathtub scene has spoiled Vidya’s skin for which she had to run to a dermatologist.

She developed the rough as soon as she was done with the scene but she ignored. However, when it turned into red rashes then she raised the alarm and hurriedly taken to a dermatologist.

A source said, “Vidya soon realized that she had developed an allergy. The rash spread all over her body. She quickly got dressed. Abandoning the shoot, she went to see the doctor immediately.”

Many would blame the unhygienic water but Balaji Motion Pictures says that they have organized for mineral water for the scene. The source added, “Balaji Motion Pictures had organised for mineral water to be filled in the bathtub. Luthria is very particular about his actors getting the best.

Despite the precautions, Vidya developed the allergy. It could be due to the bathtub, which was hand painted. It could be the soap or maybe just the fact that she had remained in soap water for a long time.”

While the doctor said that it happened due to higher presence of alkali in the soap to which Vidya was exposed for a good time which resulted into red rashes.

Next time check your brand of soap Vidya, else the ‘Dirty Picture’ will seriously go dirty!

Tez which also features Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor and Sameera Reddy had a day shoot for which the producer of the film has asked to Kumar, who refused saying it will disrupt their plan of shooting. However, Kangana has come up with a solution to resolve the issue, she has decided to work on Saturday, a weekly off for the actress.

A source told a leading tabloid, “KR decided to sacrifice her only weekly off! She flew to London on Saturday and went straight to the sets of Tez. She will be back today and will immediately head to Bhushan’s shoot.”

“It is extremely demanding as the actress has been down with a viral fever over the week. Now, she is working on a 70-hour shift!

But with heavy money riding on both films, she feels this is the only way to ensure things happen as per plan,” he added.

Way to go, this is called professionalism!!

“I warned my mother about the scenes and have already told her so that she doesn’t get shocked (on seeing them). But my mother was like, ‘It’s okay, I understand this is your profession. But maintain your dignity and respect.’ I know I have to do that and I’m careful about that,” Mid-Day quoted her saying.

She has maintained that she will never compromise to step up the ladder, the 24-year-old actress said, “I have struggled till now and I will not compromise. My self-respect is important to me. If two years down the line, I feel that I am not getting the kind of roles I want, I can always go to television.”

“It depends on the individual. No one is forced here. If you want to do something, then that’s your decision. No one will push you into something in this industry and I am firm that I don’t want to do anything that my conscience won’t allow,” she added.

Vedita has done the dare bare in the film which has come leaking on the internet and enhanced the curiosity of everyone to see how far they have gone. She plays the character of Shabana, an over ambitious girl. “Initially, I was a bit taken aback because I had not done anything of this sort before. But I got used to the idea after a while. I realized Shabana is a strong character and these scenes are important, so I went ahead with them,” said Vedita.

We have to see more of the girl in the coming days!

Deepika is currently shooting for Homi Adjania’s Cocktail in London with Kareena’s beau Saif Ali Khan. Recently, when Kareena reached to sets of the film to meet Saif, Deepika approached her and broke the ice.

The two had a sour past for each other. Kareena miffed over Imtiyaz Ali when the director choose Dippy opposite Saif in ‘Love Aaj Kal’ where she wanted to work and later it was rumored that Kareena made Saif to drop Deepika from his home production ‘Agent Vinod’.

A source told Mumbai Mirror, “And this time when Kareena went to visit Saif on the sets of Cocktail in London, Deepika made sure she made up with Bebo as well.”

“Deepika bumped into Kareena in the hotel lobby. Dippy walked up and spoke to her. Things were better between them almost in an instant. They would be talking and chatting over dinner. In fact, once the two ladies went out with Saif for dinner as well. Kareena was in London for four days and they all stayed in the same hotel Mont Calm,” added the source.

Now as the two have settled, we hope Kareena will not have any issue with Saif, if he shares screen space with Deepika.

Priyadarshan’s Tez features Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut in important roles. The film being a thriller has some adventurous stunt sequences and in one of those Sameera had to do white water rafting after Biking, she earlier done for the film in London.

A crew member of Tez told Mid-Day, “Sameera was supposed to shoot a scene under water. We all knew of her fear of water so the director thought of doing the scene with a body double.

But Sameera is a such an adventure junkie that she took it up as a challenge to shoot the scene herself. We were shocked when Sam besides rafting also agreed to do the underwater scene in the freezing temperature.”

“She stayed in the freezing cold water for 15-odd minutes pulling off the sequence to perfection. But when she came out she couldn’t stand on her feet and her body had gone completely numb.

The unit got a bit worried but thankfully Sam got back to being normal in an hour. We gave her a lot of hot drinks and warm clothes.”

Sam seems into some solid form!

In a recent event where Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt have to announce their two film deal with Fox Star Studio, namely Informer and Raaz3, Prachi stayed away from the occasion. In one of those films ‘Informer’ Prachi plays love interest of Emran Hashmi. The other actors who came to the event were Informer’s star cast, Emran, Jacqueline and Randeep Hooda.

A source present at the event told Mid-Day, “All the lead actors and directors were present at the event. Mahesh Bhatt kept saying that Prachi will be joining them shortly, but she never came.”

Sources in the Bhatt camp when asked about Prachi’s absence, they said, “The reason why she was absent was Jacqueline. PD is uncomfortable sharing space with the Sri Lankan actress, who has been slowly treading her path upwards.”

It is reported in a glossy film magazine that makers of the Housefull2 asked Asin to appear in a bikini for the film but the south Indian actress bluntly refused to cave down to the demands. Asin who has featured with Salman Khan in Ready and London Dreams, made her debut opposite Aamir Khan in ‘Ghajni’, the Diva is on a high with the success of ‘Ready’.

When she didn’t accepted the makers had no choice than to rope Murder2 seductress Jacqueline Fernandez for the act.
