While she left everyone – especially Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi – drooling over her luscious curves and sleazy act in ‘Ishqiya’, actress Vidya Balan has another reason to smile. The Kolkata salty-beauty has received The Best Actor Award (Female) for ‘Paa’ in the recently concluded 55th Idea Filmfare Awards.

For Vidya it could not have been any better than this, she ended 2009 with Paa’s success and began the New Year 2010 with praise worthy performance in ‘Ishqiya’. While she is preparing for Sabayasachi Mukjherjee’s untitled debut film with Prateik Babbar the compliments are continue to pour. Vidya Balan for sometime looked as she would not be able to make a comeback after not so successful Halla Bol and Kismat Konnection 2008 but now it seems she has found the connection right.

With Three Idiots winning the Best Film 2009 awards the number game among the top actresses once again has gone tense as Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra have already booked hits in 2009. The year has just begun; hopefully it continues to keep the audience stuck on their seats in awe and admiration for the actresses.
