It is always a dream for any artist to showcase his/her first work at their own city, where they grew up, learning the finesse of life and which has put the dream into the eyes to challenge the difficulties and shoulder it success. Debutant director, Ankush Bhatt who hails from Allahabad has shown his desires of doing a premier of ‘Bhindi Bazar’ in Allahabad.

“As of now, we have just decided to do the premier in Mumbai and Dubai, but given that I love this city a lot, I am planning to do a premier here also in my home town,” the debutant director told TOI, a leading daily.

The film features a lot of new comers as well as some old faces of the film industry like K.K Menon, Pawan Mehrotra. The film also stars Catrina Lopez who is rumored to be Jennifer Lopez’s cousin. The film is scheduled to hit the theaters on June 17.

“We have given opportunity to 6-7 new faces in this movie. Initially, I wanted to give actors from Allahabad an opportunity to act in this project, but unfortunately that couldn’t happen,” Karan further added.

This might make another Allahabadi Amitabh Bachchan to think about the talents of the city!!
