The next on the card for Salman is ‘Bodyguard’ which is slated to release on the day of Eid and with the kind of flavor he has found we can expect another earth shattering opening for the film. Salman has already been offered at a tune of 75 crores for all India theatrical rights. It is no less than a meteoric rise of Salman’s career.

Bollywood trade Pundit Taran Adarsh says, “Salman was always the darling of the masses. The kind of numbers he has been getting with Dabangg and Ready are proof of his immense popularity. Ready is having a dream run currently. On Saturday people had predicted waterloo for the project because the reviews didn’t support it. However, the masses seem unaffected. The price of Bodyguard is the current hot topic in the industry because it is a combination of Salman and Eid. With Wanted and Dabangg this combination proved invincible.”

The Patiala district administration has issued the notice to the actor for smoking in public place after taking cognizance of his image published in a local newspaper where he was shown lighting up the cigarette. It happened late Tuesday, coincidentally falls on the day when world observes it as World No Tobacco Day.

“We have issued challan on the basis of a photograph, showing Salman smoking at a public place in a hotel, published in a newspaper Saturday. We have also issued a warning to the hotel authorities,” said an official to IANS.

The challan of the above was received by a crew member on behalf of the actor, now the actor or his representative has to appear before the magistrate, who will decide the amount of penalty.
