Most of you who would be reading this page are no better than our Karthik (Farhan Akhtar) who is an introvert guy, lacks confidence and whatever he does yields an average result. His existence is un-existable in the world around him.

Now you will start arguing with me for calling you introvert, if you were not you would have gone and purposed the beautiful girl of your class in school and did not wait for internet revolution – social networking, to purpose her when she was engaged!!  Karthik is in most of us.

But unlike Farhan you do not have someone of the same name to help you in your life except facebook and orkut.

The story of ‘Karthik Calling Karthik’ is like the tale of ‘Jinns’ who come out of the bottle and asks ‘Kya huqum hai mere aaqa’ (Order me my master) where one night someone calls ‘Karthik’ and says he is ‘Karthik’ and he came to change his fortunes!

It works unimaginably, Karthik’s life starts changing and Sonali (Deepika Padukone) his office colleague who was earlier unknown to his existence start falling in love – I mean falls in love.

‘Karthik Calling Karthik’ has the trusted team of Farhan Akhtar directed by debutant Vijay Lalwani and produced by his friend and partner Ritesh Sidhwani.

Farhan and Deepika will be seen together for the first time and it was rumored that they were seeing each other but director-actor-singer and what not Farhan rubbished all rumors of link up.

Karthik Calling Karthik is slated to release on 26th February 2010.
