If Indian film industry can’t produce one film a year which can represent them to the world over audience and Film Festivals like Cannes, we need a thorough research over why we lack so much.

However, that do not concern to our commercial cinema producers much as they seem happy seeing the top faces of the bollywood walk on the red carpet representing a brand (L’Oreal) rather than a mega industry of films.

Aishwarya Rai, Minissha Lamba and Sonam Kapoor walked the red carpet as the face of L’Oreal; mind you Minissha went as Chivas face for the red carpet.

This is what we have from Bollywood to offer to 64th Cannes Film Festival at Cannes and why would they decline it.
