Rumours are that Hriday has approached Neil for the film who has suggested Asin’s name opposite him in the film which she not only declined but also suggested the director that Neil is not suitable for the role!

When a leading newspaper asked Hriday, he angrily responded, saying it is baseless, “I have never met Asin ever in my life. I had met Neil once when I went for the trial of his film, “Jail”. That too, was only because a friend of his father’s was invited for it and I went along with him. I have been busy with the pre-production work of “CC” for over a year now. I have never approached Neil to do my movie and, I believe, that there is enough talent in our industry and I don’t need to approach anyone from down South to act in my film. I was amused when I read this piece of information. First, an article on the rumour and, then, the subsequent denials. Asin should stop riding piggyback on others to get publicity for herself. She should stop seeking publicity this way.”
