The next on the card for Salman is ‘Bodyguard’ which is slated to release on the day of Eid and with the kind of flavor he has found we can expect another earth shattering opening for the film. Salman has already been offered at a tune of 75 crores for all India theatrical rights. It is no less than a meteoric rise of Salman’s career.

Bollywood trade Pundit Taran Adarsh says, “Salman was always the darling of the masses. The kind of numbers he has been getting with Dabangg and Ready are proof of his immense popularity. Ready is having a dream run currently. On Saturday people had predicted waterloo for the project because the reviews didn’t support it. However, the masses seem unaffected. The price of Bodyguard is the current hot topic in the industry because it is a combination of Salman and Eid. With Wanted and Dabangg this combination proved invincible.”

It seems Salman has found the lost shine which means the Badshah and Perfectionist need to take a leaf or two from Sallu’s book of how to become ‘Yuvraaj’ even being a ‘Dabangg’.

The Badshah of Bulandshahr has its own notorious ways to strike on the criminals. His unorthodox method comprises of making criminals to shoot other criminals, without getting his hands dirty in the act.

Dutt, who has played the role of a cop often in films like Shootout At Lokhandwala, Kurukshetra and Mission Kashmir is all geared up to play the real life character in his next Zilla Ghaziabad.

The film’s producer Vinod Bachchan told Mumbai Mirror, “Sanjay Dutt is very excited about the character and his unorthodox ways of dealing with criminals. It is true that Thakur Pritam Singh would line up criminals and have them shot by criminals. We aren’t sparing any of the violent details.”

The most interesting fact which will give Sanjay Dutt a little too much to think about it is that during his tenure, Pritam Singh was not fond of him and rumours take us to this that the cop would go crazy when local boys would copy Dutt. Vinod Bachchan laughed, “That’s true. When Khal Nayak released in Bulandshahr, local boys grew their hair to shoulder-length like Sanjay. Pritam Singh had lined them up and forced them to have a haircut.”

However, the producer of the film admits that there are similarities between Dabangg and Zilla Ghaziabad. “But our film will go far beyond Dabangg in conveying the brutality of life. Chulbul Pandey was a fictional character, but Pritam Singh is real,” he added.

Ready started on a high note on Friday with an opening collection of 13 crore across India in comparison to Dabangg’s opening day collection of 14.5 crores.

Ready’s opening weekend collections were as follows: Friday: Rs 131.5 million (Rs 13.15 crore), Saturday: Rs 122.5 million (Rs 12.25 crore) and Sunday: Rs 152.5 million (Rs 15.25 crore).

It is said that the latest poster of the film is copied from Salman Khan starrer 2010 blockbuster ‘Dabangg’. Although the two actors are good friends but this might go to the livewire as it sparked a debate.

In an interview to IANS, the ‘mast mast nain’ girl revealed, “”Kick is a remake of a south Indian film. The girl has a lot more to do. It’s a damn good role. I’m very kicked about it. Yeah, there’s definitely much more scope for me in Kick than Dabangg. And I am going to make the best of it.”

Sonakshi is having the time of her life, she is right now busy with Akshay Kumar in Shirish Kunder’s ‘Joker’ and after that three more films are lined up for the actress. “There’s Kick with Salman Khan, Rowdy Rathore with Akshay Kumar and Vishwaroopam with Kamal Hassan. Then there’s Dabangg 2 coming up,” said confident Sonakshi.

We hope she gives a ‘Kicking’ performance once again with her mentor and star Salman!!

Salman has been doing every bit to promote ‘Chillar Party’, even he insisted director Anees Bazmi to attach the promo of the film with his next ‘Ready’.

TOI quoted a source, “There have been reports of the actor not attending the awards function owing to certain decisions made by his brother Sohail Khan, who had given the go ahead to the event organisers without consulting Salman.

However, now Salman has decided to go for the event and support his film at its premiere on the 24th of June. The entire cast and crew of the film will be present including the co-producers UTV Spotboy” added the source.

The leading daily also contacted, Vikas Bahl, the co-director of the film who said, “We are premièring the film at the award ceremony. It will be the first time a movie of this scale is being showcased at the function contrary to big budget and multi-starrers.”

When asked specifically about Salman being present, Bahl diplomatically answers, “I won’t be the right person to comment on this but he is bound to attend.”

In an interview to entertainment website ‘BollywoodHungama’ producer Arbaaz has pointed out that Salman Khan’s character ‘Chulbul Pandey’ in Dabangg was not the creation of Abhinav but it was created by Dilip Shukla who worked with Anurag earlier.  After Dilip parted ways from Abhinav, the Dabangg team and Abhinav twisted the story according to their requirements.

While Abhinav in this regard pats his back over the character ‘Chulbul Pandey’ for being the man behind the creation of the 2010 most entertaining character.

Earlier Anurag has twitted taunting Salman: Salman Khan thinks he made my brother’s life. Hope he does the same for Arbaaz when he does Dabangg 2. All The Best. On which Arbaaz said, “My answer is that Salman has already made my life.”

Whatever is the end of the story but one thing is clear, after Dabangg2, Khans will look for some fresh maal!!

To remix the old & hit bollywood number, make it lively & kicking and leaving the audiences to fine their steps right – in the theater.

‘Dabangg2’ like its ‘Munni Badnaam’ which too was copied, rehashed and remixed with a little easier to wonder-stand lyrics – Darling. But, in the sequel the makers are considering the idea of using Amitabh Bachchan’s immortal number ‘Pag Ghunghroo’ from ‘Namak Halaal’, which on any given day can make you dance.

If you wonder where they will fit the item-number then for your information, in ‘Dabangg2’ Salman Khan – Robin Hood – will be boo-ish towards the pub-goers or for better inference ‘dhinchak’ socialites.

No wonder Salman has already allotted bulk dates, from December 2011 to the film until it gets complete. Hello Brother!

In return, the younger sibling Arbaaz Khan has made it clear that any actor is dispensable, if he/she doesn’t fits to the dates.

“The rest of the cast and crew will have to work their way around Salman’s dates. I am very clear on that Dabangg 2 can be made without anybody but not without Salman. He IS Dabangg,” He told to the Mid Day – a Mumbai based Tabloid.

It is also noted that the original was fully shot in small North Indian town but the sequel will move to a metropolitan, most probably Mumbai. You may find some sarcasm or humor towards the film industry or an actor – we think so.

However, Udaan swept the award night with 7 awards in its kitty including Best Supporting Actor (Male), Best Film (Critics), Best Story, Cinematography, Screenplay, Best Background Music and Best Sound Design Award. While Shah Rukh Khan Starrer My Name is Khan made a good representation by winning the most popular awards-Best Director, Best Actor (Male), Best Actor (Female), and Arbaaz’s production Dabangg won six.

The 56th Idea Filmfare Awards took place with the glitz and glitterati at the Yash-Raj Studios; it was a tribute to Yash Chopra who has been into filmmaking from the last 51 years.

As soon as the darkness enveloped the evening [lights], the milky lights found its way to the Yash-Raj Studios and a sea of celebrities started walking into the arena.

The Red carpet is rolled out, laid for the stars to walk into the night of glamour, glitz, glitterati, lights and sound but no action voice heard. Soon Bollywood biggies started coming in herds to the Yash-Raj studios for most awaited Filmfare Awards – how fair, even God don’t know.

However, the 56th Idea Filmfare Awards was one of the most glamorous and gritty affair as always [better than other awards], Shah Rukh Khan performed with Madhuri Dixit and set ablaze the stage but the speculated drama between SRK and Salman Khan never happened as the later didn’t come to the award ceremony [he is on shoot]. Salman starrer ‘Dabangg’ and he himself was nominated in the Best Actor and Best Film category against head down ‘SRK’ who found his name for ‘My Name is Khan’.

The evening began with extremely beautiful faces and gorgeous curves. Of course they would have put all their makeup men busy whole day but it was worth a day, after we looked at their striking glow.

But, the most enthralling moment of night came when the announcement for awards began and it was ‘Udaan’ all over, making everyone feel the uneasiness. Although it swept most of the Critic Awards of the night but the ‘Popular Choice’ Awards went to the usual heroes and films like SRK, Kajol and Dabangg.
