It is good to see Himesh is smiling but the competition which he will be facing on the festival of lights would not leave the smile much longer as Shahrukh Khan starrer Ra.One and Rascals featuring Sanjay Dutt and Ajay Devgn will not leave any space for ‘Damadamm’ to breath.

So mind you, take the cue before the rockets of ‘Diwali’ starts following you from behind!

Ra.One features the Bollywood Badshah in a ‘Superhero’ avatar while David Dhawan’s ‘Rascals’ looks at the funnier side of Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt. The poster of the film is showing this Diwali will once again have another comedy crapper featuring Ajay.

The producers of ‘Rascals’ were quite thoughtful before deciding to pitch their film against a mighty ‘Ra.One’ but they reached the conclusion of releasing the film at the time of Diwali with the 5 day weekend which can be said to be rewarding and will not hamper much to the future of the film.

Shahrukh Khan has a great track record over Diwali release. His earlier films like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Mohabbatein, Veer Zaara, Don and Om Shanti Om garnered great rewards and proved to be box-office hits. On the other side Ajay’s earlier releases on Diwali like Golmaal Returns and All The Best proved successful.

On every scale both the films are going to get their share of audience and with a five day weekend, they will not miss any of the film.
