She has developed a fear of sharks. It happened during the making of Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ where she plays the role of Laila who is a diving instructor. It is said that first she was very enthusiastic for her role until she had her first brush with a Shark.

A source told a leading daily, “Katrina had no idea what awaited her in the sea. When she was offered the role of Laila, the sexy diving instructor in Excel Entertainment’s Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, she was very excited to start shooting. Closer to the start of filming, Katrina, had a private instructor, who trained her in deep sea diving, at Otters Club, in Bandra.

She was under the impression that ‘this is easy’ as all she had to do was practice to breath in the deep-end of the pool. But when she landed up for the actual shoot, she was in shock. During the shoot, the weather was acting up. There was a storm at sea. Two hours into sailing, the instructor asked her to jump into the sea.

When she looked up, everyone was frantically gesturing to her. She thought they were making fun of her. She swam around, mesmerized by the aquatic life. After the shoot, the crew confessed to her that when she took her first dip, a shark passed from above her. She was shocked that nobody told her to get out of the water. The thought of the incident alone was enough to mortify her.”

When the daily confirmed it with Katrina, she said, “When Zoya had told me about my character, I had to practice deep sea diving. So, I went to Otter’s Club in Bandra with a coach. In the swimming pool, I ventured into the deep-end. I even sat there and practiced, but nothing prepared me for the big ocean.

We were shooting for three days to get the shot right and I lost about 3kg due to the mental strain and fear. I was really scared. In the shot, I am supposed to hold Hrithik’s hand and walk, but if you look closely, I was clutching his hand because I was scared.”

We hope next time no one asks Katrina to dive in the deep sea!

Farhan has already done this before, but Abhay is not so convince about his voice, “I can’t sing at all, neither can I dance. Today’s upbeat recording technologies tuned my part of the song as required. I didn’t even have time to practice. They told me to sing my way and they would tweak it,” said the actor.

“I loved my voice after recording. I don’t know if people would love it too,” added Abhay.

Abhay is the only male actor in the film’s poster who is fully clad in comparison to Hrithik who is topless and Farhan shown in ganji.

“I have a lot of hair on my chest and there is a scene in the film where we have these tomatoes all over our bodies. I told my stylist that if the tomatoes stick to my chest hair the sight won’t be pleasant. Otherwise, I have no issues with taking off my clothes” said Abhay.

Hrithik shot another cue and said, “Abhay has in fact gone bottomless in the film. You will see him remove his clothes too.”

Well, the film is themed on the bachelor trip and what less than that will you expect from three males who are out to kiss the rain.

With long curls hanging on his face and the orange drapes gives a feeling that the pictures has come from the sequence of the film and quite undoubtedly it is filmed inside a prison in Thailand (just suspecting).

It works unimaginably, Karthik’s life starts changing and Sonali (Deepika Padukone) his office colleague who was earlier unknown to his existence start falling in love – I mean falls in love.

‘Karthik Calling Karthik’ has the trusted team of Farhan Akhtar directed by debutant Vijay Lalwani and produced by his friend and partner Ritesh Sidhwani.

Farhan and Deepika will be seen together for the first time and it was rumored that they were seeing each other but director-actor-singer and what not Farhan rubbished all rumors of link up.

As we expect a good entertainment for three hours from Aamir khan every time he appears on the celluloid, we do not differ when he graces a talk show. Such is his charm! An unbound talent which raises the expectations every time we see him on screen, be it the 70 mm or television. He is bigger than his size; his many contemporaries will never disagree with this assessment.

We have watched with great enthuse, the early episode [first episode] with Hrithik Roshan in Oye! It’s Friday! Farhan Akhtar left nothing to tickle the ribs. Even when he got personal with the heartthrob, it was a synchronized performance. But yesterday, Farhan looked out of touch; the timing of the humor seemed ill-timed- may be an actor of Aamir’s stature send him to nervous breakdown.

The moments of some smile came only when Aamir walked down to the memory lanes and talked about his group- Time pass Gang, apart from that if something he really brought in the show was his pranks that he made while shooting films- the Madhuri Dixit saga, where he spat on her palms and more or less when he shared other ideas of pranks which he made many times with success.

Even Tanushree Dutta’s performance wasn’t anywhere matching to Neha Dhupia’s steps- performed last Friday, but Benny Dayal’s performance was an out right winner of the show, the blue eyed boy of A.R. Rahman-not blue in anyways, sung and danced with an electrifying energy.

In between all this show reached its end and like first episode Farhan presented Aamir a good-bye gift. For many a 250/- something gift- magnifying glass and scale, is thought to be useless to Aamir, but for an actor who has been disciplined in his long career and worked with precision to charter a route less traveled, can understand the worth of the gift.

Hopefully, next week Shankar, Ehsaan and Loy the esteemed guest bring us out from Aamir’s hangover- vibrant and humorous!!
