Not too much time is left for the ‘Red carpet’ walk when Hollywood’s cream and British honey drops will whip and ooze out at BAFTA (British Academy of Films and Television Arts) Awards. More than anything (Awards) what makes it an attractive and glaring event? Of course, who dresses what, we are waiting for Sunday for the Red carpet walk of some beautiful women of the showbiz.

BAFTA can be termed as a pre-Oscar party. Hence, most of the big stars come here to make a style statement and we just look into what is there style this season.

The Sun, UK Tabloid’s Fashion Editor Tony Jones feels, “Most stars still choose glamorous floor-length gowns, but style choices are definitely braver here than at the safe and formal Oscars, it’s easier to be a bit edgier this side of the pond.”

“Hair and make-up is often more ‘fashion’ than just plain fabulous, and the designers chosen reflect the event’s London heritage”, he added.

Unlike Oscars where most of the celebrities come in a little too formal floor length gowns, BAFTA gives them an opportunity to go a little edgier and dressier.
