Internet has affected nearly everything, some for good and some turned into ridiculously bad. Friendships, for an instance, is no more a tea or coffee affair or sitting somewhere and having the times of life, it has become more a virtual thing with comments, likes and pokes driven by social networking website ‘Facebook’ or sometime back ‘Orkut’.  Y-Films, Yash Raj’s new venture which looks after the ‘Youth’ themed cinema has one under its sleeves ‘Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge’ where the word ‘Friendship’ has too many A’s, as if someone is farting his a** out. Here the tagline reads ‘This season’s most F#@%ED UP Love Story’. I doubt about the future of the film!

The film star cast like its ‘Youth’ theme mostly consist debutants like Saqib Saleem, Saba Azad, Nishant Dahiya and Tara D’Souza.

‘Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge’ is a comedy film directed by ‘Nupur Asthana’ and produced by ‘Ashish Patil’. You can expect some weird ‘slangs’ usually used by youths today, on the name of comedy. Wish that it doesn’t goes like an extended version of ‘Mujhse Dosti Karoge’.

The film is scheduled to hit the theaters on August 12, 2011 (Friendship Day).

First Look – Paathshaala https://www.bollywoodnites.com/2010/01/27/first-look-paathshaala/ https://www.bollywoodnites.com/2010/01/27/first-look-paathshaala/#respond Wed, 27 Jan 2010 19:02:31 +0000 http://bollywoodcorner.wordpress.com/?p=1826

Here is a film with some moral teaching! ‘Paathshaala’ I do not know whether it will touch the issue of education mafia’s or not – better left on directors like Prakash Jha, Sudhir Mishra and Shayam Benegal – who are stretching their reach across the country. The deteriorating education system in rural India is somewhat a result of their hold on the education system.
Feeling Nostalgic

Coming to ‘Paathshaala’ this could be an eye opener for parents who push their kids to extent of undeliverable point, killing even their interest and art.

The film stars Nana Patekar, Shahid Kapoor and Ayesha Takia in key roles. The films tries to asks many questions regarding the sanctity of education system of our country – where a kindergarten fee is more than the normal wage of a middle class parents – and wrong doings, shortcomings of schools today.

Paathshaala also have child artists Swini Khara, Avika Gor, Ali Haji & Dwij Narendra Yadav.

The film is slated to release in April and first look posters says it beautifully – Attendance this April COMPULSORY.

The film is directed by Milind Ukey & produced by Shaira Khan (Paperdoll Entertainment). The film’s story and screenplay are by Ahmed Khan and music by Hanif Shaikh will be released under the banner of Eros International.

Johnny Gaddar!!

The first cut of Sudhir Mishra’s  ‘Tera Kya Hoga Johnny’ has surfaced on internet for everyone’s surprise. The film which is slated to release somewhere in the Indian summer 2010 is one of the many talked about films of the year has found its way on Youtube – a video sharing site.

The film stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Soha Ali Khan and Kay Kay Menon.

Sudhir Mishra, the director has nothing much to say but urged kids and youngsters to avoid watching the trailers, “I only want to appeal to everyone, especially kids and teenagers, not to watch the film illegally because they are the ones who are always on the net,” he told Reuters.

Piracy needs a serious concern as Bollywood loses $ 400 millions every year.

The producers of the film have asked Youtube to remove the film and are set to file a complaint with Mumbai Police.
