Before you start watching ‘Veer’ trailer, make it sure you are well covered! One of the most hyped film to be released in 2010, being Salman Khan’s film it was expected to go even bigger, after all it is a film of not so fathomed yet most likeable Khan’s dream venture.

How far it will fulfill the expectations of the audience and his fans that will be decided after its release, but before that the trailer of ‘Veer’ somewhat gives a real hope to open big at the box office on its release. Will it be able to build up and grow with the initial opening? It cannot be gauged so early.

However, the trailer confuses me! Either it is a love story or an epic tale of warriors (Pind ke yoddha) who are said to have fought against the British army. With usual love story, song and dance, like other bollywood masala movies. Now, the question is, if Veer gets a big opening will it be able to carry it? Will have to wait for the decision of the audience…

For Vivek Oberoi that was just the beginning of his struggle  in bollywood after a hit debut ­– Company – and another successful project ‘Saathiya’ that astounded with his affair with Aishwarya Rai whose relationship and break-up with Salman needs no mention here.

Since then the duo have been on a cold war – Vivek although apologized many a times but Salman kept a deaf ear – but come January 22, 2010, their love and hatred will get a boost, as they are slated to clash, this time on ticket window.

Salman’s magnum opus ‘Veer’ and Vivek’s ‘Prince – It’s Show Time’ will be releasing on the same day.

Earlier ‘Prince’ was lined up for a december 11 release, but due to pre-production work it was delayed to a month and if the buzz to be believed, the makers of ‘Prince’ delibrately want it to clash to garner publicity out of Salman and Vivek’s earlier conflict.

However, ‘Prince’ makers Kumar Taurani denies it, “ Why would we want to clash with ‘Veer’? Salman is a bigger star.”

Let’s wait and see the outcome of the conflict but onething is for sure, Vivek would not like such a story do the rounds. After all who wishes to be forgotten!!

After watching Aamir Khan’s Ghajini, everyone started biting their nails in anxiety, he was the next  Khan who force a new image of his abs to the conscience of the Bollywood film lovers. But, he won’t be able to rejoice his new found ab-liciousness for long as Salman Khan once again will sweep everyone – females, from their feet with his toned body. It was Salman who began the show of male stripping on the silver screen. He must have taken some  lessons to make it look better from his earlier ‘Avatar’ – stripping in every dance sequence. The formal shirt stripping would be changed into a warrior’s armored get-up in his forthcoming ‘Veer’.

The film has many other reasons to surprise you, the story of ‘Veer’ is written by Salman himself (directed by Anil Sharma), secondly he has a bronzed look for the film and thirdly he is flaunting unusually long hair and the film is said to be one of the costliest films of the bollywood.

For  long  Salman unarguably had the best male body in the film industry, but lately the competition of the perfect body has come up from all corners. Be it Shahrukh Khan’s six pack Abs, Hrithik Roshan, John Abraham, Akshay Kumar’s athletic built and recently Aamir Khan’s eight pack abs for Ghajini  has started questioning Salman’s well preserved physique.

But, we all know Salman has a tendency to fight for the top slot and ‘Veer’ is an attempt to fortify his position as beholder of the best male body in Bollywood. So get ready to face the ‘Veer-ocious’ Salman Khan.
