The actress however, enjoyed watching her Oscar winning performance of a serial killer in the 2003 film Monster, reported Contactmusic.

“I hate to see myself on screen. When I did Monster it wasn’t too bad, because I didn’t look like Charlize Theron,” said Theron.

“During the rough cut I had to watch a lot of my scenes over and over again. I would slit my wrists if I had to watch my other films that often”, she added.

“The King’s Speech” is the movie with the highest number of nominations. It has got up to 12 nominations in different categories giving it chances to expectedly win the award for the Best Picture this year. Colin Firth is also the most qualifying nominee in the Best Actor category for his outstanding performance in “The King’s Speech”.  “True Grit” with 10 nominations is expected to win the Oscar 2011. “The Social Network” and “Inception”, is heading behind with a total of 8 nominations each in their kitty.

Though “The Social Network” seems to be one of the strongest contenders to win the Oscar for Best Directing but ‘The King’s Speech’ if wins there shouldn’t be any surprises. “Black Swan” actress Natalie Portman who already has won many accolades for her role as a ballerina and Nicole Kidman for “Rabbit Hole” are the most deserving amongst the other nominees.

So much so less that three-time Oscar winner Woody Allen wish to cast her in his next flick.

In an interview to U.S morning news programme Today, the 24 year sensation credited Boyle for landing the role in Allen’s new venture- but forget Rahul Antao for anything.

The lady expressed her eagerness, “Yes, it’s up (begins) in July (09). So thank you, Danny Boyle, for helping me take off,” the Daily Express quoted her as saying.
