The next on the card for Salman is ‘Bodyguard’ which is slated to release on the day of Eid and with the kind of flavor he has found we can expect another earth shattering opening for the film. Salman has already been offered at a tune of 75 crores for all India theatrical rights. It is no less than a meteoric rise of Salman’s career.

Bollywood trade Pundit Taran Adarsh says, “Salman was always the darling of the masses. The kind of numbers he has been getting with Dabangg and Ready are proof of his immense popularity. Ready is having a dream run currently. On Saturday people had predicted waterloo for the project because the reviews didn’t support it. However, the masses seem unaffected. The price of Bodyguard is the current hot topic in the industry because it is a combination of Salman and Eid. With Wanted and Dabangg this combination proved invincible.”

It seems Salman has found the lost shine which means the Badshah and Perfectionist need to take a leaf or two from Sallu’s book of how to become ‘Yuvraaj’ even being a ‘Dabangg’.

It is reported in a glossy film magazine that makers of the Housefull2 asked Asin to appear in a bikini for the film but the south Indian actress bluntly refused to cave down to the demands. Asin who has featured with Salman Khan in Ready and London Dreams, made her debut opposite Aamir Khan in ‘Ghajni’, the Diva is on a high with the success of ‘Ready’.

When she didn’t accepted the makers had no choice than to rope Murder2 seductress Jacqueline Fernandez for the act.

Housefull, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Sajid Khan, features actors like Akshay Kumar, Asin, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, Riteish Deshmukh, Zarine Khan and Shazahn Padamsee in the lead roles.

You must be changing your seats to know who exactly he meant when he said he knows only three baba; the first who figure in Salman’s list of Babas is his father script writer, director Salim Khan who he calls baba at home.

The second person is industry’s baba Sanjay Dutt who the industry calls ‘Baba’ in affection and out of fondness of the ‘Macho Man’.

And third who comes in the actor’s list is no other than ‘Sirdi Sai Baba’ who numerous bollywood stars keep in reverence.

Now, don’t ask Salman again about any baba as the ‘Bodyguard’ would be pumping iron and not ‘Yoga’.

Ready started on a high note on Friday with an opening collection of 13 crore across India in comparison to Dabangg’s opening day collection of 14.5 crores.

Ready’s opening weekend collections were as follows: Friday: Rs 131.5 million (Rs 13.15 crore), Saturday: Rs 122.5 million (Rs 12.25 crore) and Sunday: Rs 152.5 million (Rs 15.25 crore).

Salman, the ‘Being Human’ is baffled over the yoga guru’s decision to go on a hunger strike to ward off the country from corruption and Salman is least amused with the idea. “Why is he going on a hunger strike? Isn’t he a yogi teaching yoga?” he asked.

“I know his intention is good, but I think there are better ways for him to stop corruption,” said the star further adding, “The yogi has numerous followers across the nation. If he wants to put an end to corrupt practices, he should spread the message through them and motivate people to stop giving bribes.”

May be Salman didn’t want to feel the ire of Baba who usually blabber a lot and the clueless actor over the hunger strike wished Ramdev to accomplish his mission. If he could!!

Recently at the unveiling of Ra.One’s first look, Shahrukh has said that his kids want to watch ‘Ready’ and he will go with them to watch it and wished Salman good luck for the film. Now Salman returns the gesture in the same manner at the promotion of ‘Ready’. “I wish Shah Rukh all the best for Ra.One and hope its a hit,” he said.

When the ‘Being Human’ ambassador was asked whether he would like SRK to watch ‘Ready’ he said, “Asin and Bhushan Kumar will show it to him. Asin has worked with me and Aamir. She’s damn good in the film. So I’m sure she would want SRK to see the film and know what he’s missing out on.”

We hope the two Khans bury their hatchets and come together, because someone is still praying for her ‘Karan Arjun’.

The mercurial Khan will feature on the Sony Entertainment Television’s ‘Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega’ which will be aired on 6th of June.

The star is quite exciting this time around making a striking entry on a Rickshaw and performed on the ‘Ready’ track ‘Character Dheela’ to fans excitement. He hasn’t done this only, but he also pleased his fans by fulfilling their demands.

It seems Salman is now ‘Ready’ with all his experience to show that he also knows how to promote a film.

Recently when SRK was attending an event to unveil the theatrical trailer of his sci-fi, super hero Ra.One, someone asked Shahrukh whether he has seen the ‘Ready’ promos of Salman Khan starrer film. To this SRK replied, “Yes, of course. I think the two songs in the film are very nice and catchy. My kids like them too and they have been waiting for the film to release. They’ll watch it on Friday.”

But, it didn’t take much time to witty Khan to turn the handle towards his Ra.One, an ambitious project which he keeps close to his heart. “My kids and Anubhav Sinha’s son have seen whatever we have shot till now and they have given it their thumbs up. So I am sure others kids will like Ra.One too. My personal C Board – Children’s Board have approved the film and inshallah, we’ll be able to take entertainment to the next level with this,” he said.

What is common among these songs? Neither they are just item-numbers, nor they have any item girl dancing on the tune but still there is something common. The three above songs belong to bollywood’s three Khans – Aamir, Salman and Shahrukh, and every one of them is boasting that theirs is the ‘Best Song’. It will be decided later but the heat is on among Khans.

Currently ‘Bhaag DK Bose’ from Aamir’s Production Delhi Belly is a rage among the young audience and Aamir Khan is insisting that Ram Sampat, the brain behind the song is going to become a star. He may be right but we cannot leave Salman Khan behind who has taken special interest in the shoot of Ready song ‘Dhinka Chika’ which has been released late but is catching up quite fast.

While SRK is a little tense man as his special number for Ra.One ‘Chammak Challo’ hummed by R&B singer Akon is been leaked to the internet which seems to be working in favor as it has started catching up but Shahrukh says the original is way better than the leaked one.

Only time will decide whether ‘Dhinka Chika’ beats ‘Chammak Challo’ or ‘Bhaag DK Bose’ takes away all to become the ‘Best Song’.

Salman has been doing every bit to promote ‘Chillar Party’, even he insisted director Anees Bazmi to attach the promo of the film with his next ‘Ready’.

TOI quoted a source, “There have been reports of the actor not attending the awards function owing to certain decisions made by his brother Sohail Khan, who had given the go ahead to the event organisers without consulting Salman.

However, now Salman has decided to go for the event and support his film at its premiere on the 24th of June. The entire cast and crew of the film will be present including the co-producers UTV Spotboy” added the source.

The leading daily also contacted, Vikas Bahl, the co-director of the film who said, “We are premièring the film at the award ceremony. It will be the first time a movie of this scale is being showcased at the function contrary to big budget and multi-starrers.”

When asked specifically about Salman being present, Bahl diplomatically answers, “I won’t be the right person to comment on this but he is bound to attend.”
