However, now it is learned that actually Sonam and Pankaj Kapoor had some differences which has finally sorted out on the director’s birthday on Saturday and Shahid acted as the peacemaker between the two.

“The dates that Sonam gave her other films went for a toss, thanks to Mausam’s erratic schedule,” an insider told a leading tabloid.

It was also recently reported that Sonam walked off the sets on noticing lack of facilities at the location.

Sonam and Mausam director Pankaj didn’t see eye to eye yet were cordial to each other on the sets. Her showing up to Kapur’s surprise birthday party thawed the ice between the two.”

When Sonam arrived at the birthday bash Pankaj greeted her with a big hug and Sonam responded with a hug too.

The source added that it was Shahid who organized the party, “It was a surprise party. Sonam, too, decided to let bygone be bygones and came at the time mentioned.”

“She had shot the whole day for Mausam and not slept the night before as she rushed to wrap the shoot. People close to Pankaj were heard remarking on how well the girl’s parents had brought her up.”

Now we can hope, the ‘Mausam’ will be cool all this while.

“Yes, I have an interest in the Indian film industry but I am nowhere near ready to face the arc lights.

There have been many meetings with producers, actors and directors and frankly the interest level is hugely gratifying to say the least.

I am at least a year away from taking on a movie project if I do at all. I am currently deeply involved in speech, dance and acting classes. My current focus is, however, modelling,” the 20-year-old model told a leading daily.

‘Mausam’ being Shahid’s home production, the actor has a good say in promotion and marketing of the film and it is heard that they are keeping Sonam away for a while.

For Sonam it is quite crucial for her not so flying career to take off, because so far ‘Mausam’ looks making big at the box-office once it releases and Sonam do not want to lose the opportunity to get some brownies.

Let’s see whether Shahid melts or not, but we hope the deadlock breaks soon!

Sources in the industry say that Shahid has been texting Ajay requesting him to change the date of ‘Singham’.

Ajay could have bow and considered Shahid’s request but director Rohit is determined to release his film on the schedule date considering the fact that he has announced it long long before than duo father-son have thought of Mausam’s release.

We just hope Rohit and Pankaj sit down and sort out the issue and let everyone eat their pie!

‘Mausam’ is hitting headlines with Shahid Kapoor becoming the first ever actor to fly a real F-16 aircraft in the film.

The movie marks the debut of veteran actor Pankaj Kapoor’s (Shahid’s father) debut as a director. Shahid plays an Air Force pilot in the film and hence he got the opportunity to fly the aircraft in the recently concluded Aero India show, Bangalore (Bangaluru).

“I wanted to get a first-hand experience of flying on a fighter aircraft. Thanks to Lockheed Martin, I have had the privilege of becoming the first actor to fly the F-16. Such an opportunity doesn’t come by as a civilian,” Shahid told the media after the flight.

‘Mausam’ is a love story that looks deep into the life of the protagonist, played by Shahid over the years. The film is extensively shot in different countries including Spain, Italy, Austria, UK and India.

Shahid has done a rather new look for the film, he will be seen sporting a slightly thin mustache in the movie.

We only hope this movie changes the ‘Mausam’ of bollywood in July when it hits the theaters.

Coming to ‘Paathshaala’ this could be an eye opener for parents who push their kids to extent of undeliverable point, killing even their interest and art.

The film stars Nana Patekar, Shahid Kapoor and Ayesha Takia in key roles. It’s time for you to move aside and make way for the biggest ‘Kamiena’ of Bollywood: Shahid Kapoor who is finally silencing all echoes and speculation by shed his choco-late boy image in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Kaminey.

‘Kaminey’ which is slated to release on August 14 looks all set to put his lover-boy image behind.

For long we have seen and watched Shahid as a mushy-mushy hero – an innocent looking – fit for romantic and chocolaty characters only.
