Ra.One features the Bollywood Badshah in a ‘Superhero’ avatar while David Dhawan’s ‘Rascals’ looks at the funnier side of Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt. The poster of the film is showing this Diwali will once again have another comedy crapper featuring Ajay.

The producers of ‘Rascals’ were quite thoughtful before deciding to pitch their film against a mighty ‘Ra.One’ but they reached the conclusion of releasing the film at the time of Diwali with the 5 day weekend which can be said to be rewarding and will not hamper much to the future of the film.

Shahrukh Khan has a great track record over Diwali release. His earlier films like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Mohabbatein, Veer Zaara, Don and Om Shanti Om garnered great rewards and proved to be box-office hits. On the other side Ajay’s earlier releases on Diwali like Golmaal Returns and All The Best proved successful.

On every scale both the films are going to get their share of audience and with a five day weekend, they will not miss any of the film.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is not one of the directors who take things in a good humor and when tirades start pouring in. After seeing off Farah Khan and Shahrukh Khan over the debacle of ‘Saanwariya’, Bhansali couldn’t keep his mouth shut and directed his wrath towards Karan, who was once a friend.

The spat began once Bhansali called KJo’s show ‘Koffee with Karan’ as frivolous; the director then stated that he won’t ever watch show himself. This came after Karan made fun of ‘Saanwariya’ blueness with show guest ‘Sonam Kapoor’ who acted in the film.

Karan send his reactions through social networking site ‘Twitter’ and war of words kept on until recently when the two met on an upcoming TV show, they hugged each other and patched up.

A source told a leading news paper, “There have been many problems between the two. However, they met like gentlemen. Both of them spoke for some time and cleared the air. Karan is extremely close to the channel and had gone there to announce his association with the show. Bhansali is the host of the show and so they met.”

We must hope they carry on the gesture!

As soon as the song ‘DK Bose’ from Aamir Khan Production ‘Delhi Belly’ hit the crescendo a number of eye brows raised. The one which didn’t go well with the composer and singer Ram Sampat is the critic coming from Shahrukh Khan Camp, Anubhav Sinha, the director of SRK’s sci-fi Ra.One who slammed the composer on moral grounds.

This has left Ram furious and he lambasted saying Anubhav Sinha is a hypocrite.

He further added taking on the director, “His last flop film, Cash, is full of skin show and skimpily clad women mouthing lyrics like, Sainya sainya Sehari/ Lagen hai mohe sexy, Love the way u touch me.

Obviously, he’s okay with his kid and other kids singing that. It’s common to see little kids on TV across all channels and reality shows dancing vigorously to such ‘catchy’ numbers with all the moves to the last ‘pelvic thrust’, ‘chest heaving’ intact. This is a hypocrisy we need to address before we get all moralistic about DK Bose. It’s a name, just like Sheila or Munni. All this, coming from a guy like Anubhav Sinha whose morality is questionable, is absurd. It’s a known fact that his production house hasn’t paid people their dues on past projects. I know this from personal experience.”

The censor board of India has already passed the music of ‘Delhi Belly’, although they have given the film an ‘A’ certificate to which Aamir and his team is quite pleased with.

“Reading something more into the lyrics and feeling embarrassed when a child sings the same is more to do with a dirty mind at work. I don’t think a kid is enjoying the music with a devious bent of mind. Lets not forget that the Censor Board of this country has viewed and cleared the aforesaid music video,” the composer of the raged number said.

To make Anubhav feel the heat Sampat ended the conversation by saying, “The great Indian Crab has risen again.”

Let’s see what Anubhav has to say or SRK will come up to defend his ‘Chammak Challo’!!

She says, “I am being quoted as supporting Baba Ramdev. This is false. I’ve categorically said I won’t go to Delhi to support him.

I believe the issue of corruption has to be kept alive. And any public figure, who stands up against corruption should be welcomed. But to say I am for Ramdev and Shah Rukh is against him is mischievous,” the veteran actress told a tabloid.

Shabana looked a little angry over the way individuals are given more important than the social issues.

“We must focus on the anti-corruption movement and not let that die down due to other controversial issues.

Personalities must not become larger than issues. This is not about me, Shah Rukh or Ramdev.”

But, the actress didn’t forget to take a dig on the yoga guru Ramdev over his links with RSS and his properties.

“Ramdev needs to answer questions on his RSS links, on his wealth of R1100 crores and the islands that he has bought. He must first prove himself incorruptible.”

It is reported that the film’s official webpage www.raonemovie.com got hacked, and not only the official page but also all pages related to the film were similarly hacked. It is mentioned that it was handy work of certain Pakistani cyber criminals who are taking revenge of cyber attack on Karachi Press Club website.

Now, SRK would be a mad man looking for some peace!

Recently at the unveiling of Ra.One’s first look, Shahrukh has said that his kids want to watch ‘Ready’ and he will go with them to watch it and wished Salman good luck for the film. Now Salman returns the gesture in the same manner at the promotion of ‘Ready’. “I wish Shah Rukh all the best for Ra.One and hope its a hit,” he said.

When the ‘Being Human’ ambassador was asked whether he would like SRK to watch ‘Ready’ he said, “Asin and Bhushan Kumar will show it to him. Asin has worked with me and Aamir. She’s damn good in the film. So I’m sure she would want SRK to see the film and know what he’s missing out on.”

We hope the two Khans bury their hatchets and come together, because someone is still praying for her ‘Karan Arjun’.

Reason the actor has some romantic roles to play in his forthcoming movies, predominately Yash Chopra’s romantic saga. “I have to put on weight that I have lost during Ra.One. I have to look handsome for my next film. It’s a romantic film and I have to look like a perfect romantic hero for the film,” as he told to a leading daily.

Yash Chopra, the veteran director is making his comeback after 7 years. The last film which he directed was ‘Veer Zaara’ in 2007 where SRK played the leading role. It was recently reported that the film will be a love triangle, SRK and Katrina Kaif has already been decided to play the leading role in the film but it is also abuzz that Kajol too has to play a role in the film.

Although Raj has tried his best not to leak the surprise, he requested the stars not to mention it to anyone because the hubby wanted a big surprise for Shilpa.

However, celebrities needed to check the dates with their managers and this is where it leaked out and we have heard that Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna didn’t make to the list of the guests.

“That was the earlier version of the song. It’s very unfortunate. I am very depressed by that, more depressed than any other news that I have heard. That was the trial version. The original version is with us and I have told everyone to take a little more care,” Shah Rukh told Mid-Day.

However, SRK feels that it was just the rough cut of the song and final version which is actually way better than the one leaked on the internet.

“I think we have found out from which IP address it has been leaked. Once I get to catch that person I will cane him and make him keep singing the song (Laughs),” he added.

“The Internet Protocol (IP) address, from which the song has been leaked, could be identified and hopefully, would get hold of the person soon,” he further added.

The original version of the song will be official release in August.
