“Ghayal Returns is a proper sequel. The story takes off 20 years after the protagonist in Ghayal, Ajay Mehra, goes to jail,” said Ashwini Chaudhary.

However, the lead actress Meenakshi Sheshadri do not have anything to offer to ‘Ghayal Returns’, hence  the unit is zeroing on Prachi Desai, and it is nearly confirmed that the Rock On beauty is making to the folds of Vijayta productions much anticipated film.

Director Ashwini Chaudhary is quite impressed with Prachi after seeing her works in Rock On and Once Upon a Time in Mumbai and even the Deols are impressed and finding it the best bet for the film. “And when Sunny saw her work, he thought she would fit the character of one of the lead actresses. The discussions are on with her,” a source told to a leading daily.

The first look teaser is already been revealed, showcasing Sunny in his fistful best.

The film is expected to release in the middle of 2012. The film will go on the floor in September.

Sunny has unveiled the first teaser of ‘Ghayal Return’ on the video sharing website Youtube. In the teaser it shows a different Ajay Mehra from the original one, here actor plays a cop in the film and we can see Balwant Rai but it seems Aryan Babbar has a villainous role to play. The Ghayal Return is produced under Vijayta Production of Deols. The film is directed by Ashwini Chaudhary and not ‘Rajkumar Santoshi’, who directed the original.

The film is expected to release in 2012. So wait till Sunny oils his ‘Dhai Kilo ka haath’.

The actor, who is on and off from the screen told that he couldn’t do many movies because of some health problems and was lastly seen in ‘Right Ya Wrong’ which got critical acclamation but couldn’t do well on the box-office.

However, Sunny spoke about the need of getting copyright for his voice citing reasons of people crossing the limit while doing mimicry of him. His ‘Dhai Kilo ka Haath’ (two and half kilogram hand) and ‘Papa’ has been used many a times to an extent of making him think of suing the actors imitating his voice and dialogues.

“Yes, I really want to do that. It’s not that you do not enjoy people mimicking you. But there had to be a limit to everything. There have been times when people have crossed the line”, said Sunny.

Come Friday, January 14, 2011, Dharmendra promises the movie buffs a rib tickling time in theaters with his home production Yamla, Pagla, Deewana. The film brings together the 3 Deols – Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby, as the punch line says, is film mein action hai, comedy hai, drama hai (the film has action, comedy and romance).

The film Yamla Pagla Deewana celebrates Dharmendra’s 50 years in Bollywood and nothing could have been better than this that he took the ‘title’ from a song ‘Jat Yamla, Pagla Deewana, ho rabba’ from his own film ‘Pratigya’ produced by Dharmendra himself and B.S Dayal in 1975.
