Director Ashutosh Gowarikar’s ‘Jodha Akbar’ and Actor Farhan Akhtar’s debut movie ‘Rock On’ bagged five awards each at the 54th Filmfare Awards tonight. ‘Jodha Akbar’ won five awards including the “Best Actor”, “Best Director” and “Best Film”. Hritik Roshan won the “Best Actor” award for ‘Jodha Akbar’, while Priyanka Chopra won the “Best Actress” award for ‘Fashion’.

Ashutosh Gowarikar won the “Best Director” award for ‘Jodha Akbar’. The “Best Film” award too went to ‘Jodha Akbar. The Oscar Hero AR Rahman won two Filmfare awards – “Best Background Score” for ‘Jodha Akbar’ and “Best Music Director” for ‘Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na’. Veteran Actor Om Puri and India’s first Oscar Award winner Bhanu Athaiya were conferred the “Lifetime Achievement Award”.
